At Dastaan, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not completely happy, we’re here to help with a smooth return or exchange process. Please read our Refund and Return Policy below for details.
1. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must meet the following criteria:
- Condition: The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition with tags and packaging intact.
- Return Period: Returns must be initiated within 14 days of the delivery date.
- Non-Returnable Items: Certain items, including gift cards, sale items, and customized products, are not eligible for return or refund.
2. Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email us at returns@dastaan.com with your order number, item details, and reason for return.
- Approval & Instructions: Once approved, we will provide instructions for returning your item. Please do not send your item back without prior approval.
- Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or we made an error in your order. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost during return shipping.
3. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund:
- Approved Refunds: If approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Partial Refunds: In some cases, only a partial refund may be granted (for items returned not in original condition or missing parts).
- Non-Approved Refunds: If your return is not approved due to ineligibility, we will notify you and offer options to return the item to you at your expense.
4. Exchanges
We offer exchanges for the same item in a different size or color, subject to availability:
- Exchange Requests: To request an exchange, please email us at returns@dastaan.com with your order details and exchange preference.
- Exchange Shipping: You are responsible for shipping the original item back to us. We will cover the cost of shipping the exchanged item back to you.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order:
- Report Damage: Send an email to support@dastaan.com with your order number and photos of the damaged item.
- Resolution: We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you, depending on your preference and item availability.
6. Cancellations
Orders may be canceled if they have not yet been shipped. Please contact us at support@dastaan.com as soon as possible to request a cancellation. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled and must go through our return process.
